A Care Guide from DIANNES

Thank you for choosing a piece from our collection. Natural wool is a living fiber - with a little bit of "TLC," your knitwear will stay soft, shapely, and beautiful for years to come.

🚿 Washing

  • Less is More: Wool is naturally odor-resistant. Often, a quick air-out on a breezy day is all it needs!

  • Hand Wash Only: When a wash is necessary, use lukewarm water (no hotter than 30°C) and a gentle wool detergent.

  • No Soaking: Avoid soaking for more than 5–10 minutes to prevent the fibers from weakening.

🌬️ Drying

  • Never Tumble Dry: Heat and agitation are the enemies of wool.

  • The Towel Roll: Lay your garment on a clean towel, roll it up like a sleeping bag, and gently press to remove excess water.

  • Dry Flat: Reshape your garment while damp and lay it flat on a drying rack. Never hang wet wool, as gravity will stretch it out of shape.

✨ Maintenance

  • Pilling happens: Tiny "bobbles" are a natural result of friction. Use a wool comb or a battery-operated de-piller to keep the surface smooth.

  • Storage: Always store your knits folded. Hanging can cause "hanger shoulders" and permanent stretching.

  • Cedar is Key: Keep moths at bay by storing your woolens with cedar wood blocks or lavender sachets.
